Wrap it up

B + I just celebrated our five year anniversary. We went to Mendocino last weekend, and stayed at the *Stanford Inn*. It was the nicest hotel/B&B I’ve ever stayed at, and they allow pets. We rented a canoe to hang out on the river, played at the beach, hung around in the little town, swam in the heated pool inside the solarium, hot tub, sauna, massages…. the list goes on. The Stanford Inn is pretty amazing as well. It is pricey, but you get what you pay for. The pool is open 24 hours, and I could hang out there for hours. No continental breakfasts here…. you get a REAL one. There’s a fireplace in each room, the beds are comfier than the ones at home, and they give you chocolates and cookies delivered to your room! We were pampered. REally.

It was a perfect way to end the summer before school begins. So, here’s a summary of my summer:
+ Worked a lot
+ Went camping a few times
+ Went to Oregon and San Diego
+ Turned 3-0
+ Met some cool people
+ Being audited
+ Drama Rama
+ Diagnosed with something that I really did not want to be diagnosed for
+ Stress case
+ Mendocino…… ahhhhhhh… relax.

And now, school begins. Bring it on, sloppy joe.

Craft, Inc.

A new friend of mine just published her third book, *Craft, Inc.* I was so excited to read her book, my determination to read it in one night was a success! It was neat to read her interviews with all the designers, and the information is very helpful for anyone who is looking to start their own craft or design business. She’s having a book launch party on October 2nd, so go check it out!

Fan Death

The other day, my husband asked me if I knew what “Fan Death” was. I had no clue to what it was. After he told me, then it clicked in my head. I was pretty shocked at first after hearing about what it was, but then realized that we were not allowed to have fans blowing at us while sleeping when we were kids. I don’t think my parents were as harsh about it, and they didn’t tell us why. The only thing they said to us were, “it makes you sick.” Check it out….
